rope tangle - a (consecutive) crash course into suspensions
photographer: MichaStella
You’re confident with floorwork and simple patterns, and now you’re ready to take the next step toward suspension? You want to sharpen your technical precision, deepen your understanding of rope mechanics, and explore the theoretical foundations that make your tying more intentional and dynamic? You learn quickly, practice regularly, and are looking for a course that meets your pace and curiosity? Then this course is for you!
Here, we’ll start by refining core patterns with a strong focus on detail, structure, and safe mechanics. We’ll also explore key theoretical aspects relevant to rope practice. Building on this foundation, you’ll gain your first suspension experiences, learn how to create different dynamics, and discover ways to make your sessions more playful, expressive, and unique. Each step combines targeted input (both practical and theoretical) with open practice time.
