CRAFTING EMOTIONS – From Intention to Impact in Rope

In this workshop, we explore how to design emotional journeys rather than technical ones and how to craft emotion by crafting the session itself. Drawing from theatre and psychodrama, we’ll look at how scenes are built and how each choice becomes part of your emotional dramaturgy:

• Setting the stage: casting, set design, and role preparation
• Opening the scene: touch, intention, and the first rope
• Diving deeper: stylistic devices, positioning, and climaxes
• Curtain call: role dissolution, grounding, and integration

Prerequisites: Rigger should be able to tie at least a single and double column tie safely and independently. Both rigger and model should have good body and mind awareness and be able to communicate their needs with each other. At least 3 ropes are required.
