workshops & lessons

As an licensed educator and seasoned practitioner, I bring years of experience in facilitating workshops and working with groups in ways that are both engaging and process-oriented. My teaching style is lighthearted, responsive, shaped by the people in the room and has a strong emphasis on group interaction as well as individual learning.

My rope workshops can focus purely on technical skills, carefully tailored to the level and interests of the participants — from complete beginners to advanced practitioners.

At the same time, my real passion lies in going beyond technique: exploring how to develop a personal rope style, how to deepen the quality of sessions through psychological and communicative insights, and how to integrate creative elements so that each experience becomes unique and meaningful. It is at this nexus between structure, expression, skill and presence, that my work comes vibrantly and fully to life.

In addition, I offer workshops beyond rope — focusing on themes like general session building, the integration of body and mind, or psychological themes relevant to personal or intimate development. These spaces invite curiosity, reflection, and the freedom to develop your own language and stylistic expression.

I also offer private lessons for individuals or couples, which can be customised to any of the topics mentioned.

DANCING THE LINE – Movement & Control in Rope

This is a workshop for those who want to move in rope—and be moved.
We explore how intention becomes motion and how rope can speak not just through form, but through flow. Together, we play with stability and surrender, with stillness and speed, with space and pressure. We investigate floorwork, body mechanics, pressure points, and body locks, learning to lead and follow through the rope. The floor becomes a dance partner, rope a rhythm, bodies a conversation. We tie, untie, stumble, lead, follow, hold, and fall—into each other, into movement, into presence.

Requirements: A chest harness that lives in your hands and flows without thought. Please come with a partner!

Duration: 4-7 hours (flexible, content/intensity may vary depending on duration)

You're Mine! – Navigating Jealousy in Relationships

Jealousy: uncomfortable, intense, and often taboo. But what if, instead of avoiding it, we learned to understand it? This workshop dives into the psychological roots of jealousy, exploring why it arises and how it plays out in different relationship models – monogamy, polyamory, open relationships, and everything in between. We’ll look at the assumptions, expectations, and emotional patterns that shape our experiences of connection and comparison. Through theoretical input, practical tools, and guided discussion, you’ll gain insight into your own reactions and leave with concrete strategies to better navigate jealousy, whether it’s your own or your partner’s. Expect thoughtful impulses, honest conversations, and space for reflection on personal challenges in a supportive group setting. This is not about “fixing” feelings, it’s about meeting them with clarity, curiosity, and compassion.

Requirements: No special prior knowledge is required, only a willingness to explore and reflect on your own feelings and assumptions.

Duration: 2-4 hours (flexible, content/intensity may vary depending on duration)

CRAFTING EMOTIONS – From Intention to Impact in Rope

This workshop isn’t about what you tie—but how, and why.
We explore how to craft emotional states through intention, touch, posture, and atmosphere. From fear to closeness, from shame to safety—you’ll learn to use rope as a tool to evoke feeling, connection, and depth.
We set intentions, read reactions, and dive into the emotional architecture of a scene.

Requirements: Chest harness in muscle memory, confidence in free tying.
Bring a partner—and your willingness to go deeper.

Duration: 5-8 hours (flexible, content/intensity may vary depending on duration)

BUILD-A-HARNESS – From rope chaos to functional form

This hands-on workshop guides you in creating your own chest harness—starting from chaos and evolving into structure. You’ll explore how to work intuitively with tension, wraps, and body mechanics to build stabilizing shapes.
We’ll start with one-rope chaos harnesses and develop them into solid forms that work on the floor—or even in suspension. It’s all about creative process, technical awareness, and listening to the body you’re tying.

Requirements: Solid knowledge of knots, tension, and chest harness safety. Please come with a partner and a willingness to experiment.

Duration: 3-6 hours (flexible, content/intensity may vary depending on duration)

BEYOND THE FRAME – Fluid Transitions on Bamboo

This workshop invites you to move beyond static suspensions and into flow. We’ll explore 3D positioning, how to shift weight and angle with intention, and how to create smooth, dynamic transitions in the air. You’ll learn how to work around the bamboo – and how to use creative line placements to guide the body into motion, not just shape. A demonstration will offer inspiration; then it’s your turn to experiment and translate technique into movement.

Requirements: Solid suspension experience, confident knowledge about safe suspension tie-offs on bamboo, and experience with chest and hip/waist harnesses. Please come with a partner.

Duration: 3-6 hours (flexible, content/intensity may vary depending on duration)

TALKING THROUGH & ABOUT ROPE – Communication before, during, and after tying

Good rope is more than technique—it’s connection, clarity, and knowing how to ask, listen, and respond. In this workshop, we explore how to communicate at every stage of a rope session: from negotiation and risk profiles, to mid-tie check-ins and nonverbal cues, to debriefs that deepen trust and understanding. Through discussion and hands-on exercises, you’ll learn tools for clearer intentions, safer play, and more satisfying sessions—for both tops and bottoms.

Requirements: No experience needed—just curiosity and a partner to explore with.

Duration: 2-3 hours (flexible, content/intensity may vary depending on duration)

Triggers, Drops, and Shitty Communication?? - How to Become a Safer Play Partner

In this workshop, we delve deeply into the psychological and mental aspects of play – with the aim of creating safer and more conscious play partnerships.
We explore how to deal with unusual and challenging situations, such as trauma triggers, bottom and top drops, or unforeseen accidents, and examine them from a psychological perspective. A special focus will be placed on preparing for and following up on sessions, as well as practical approaches to ‘first aid’ in crisis situations. The workshop concludes with an open discussion. Here you can share your experiences, ask questions and develop assessments and solutions together with other participants.

Requirements: This workshop is open to everyone who is interested in exploring the psychological and mental aspects of play.

Duration: 2-4 hours (flexible, content/intensity may vary depending on duration)

rope tangle - a consecutive crash course into suspensions

You’re confident with floorwork and simple patterns, and now you’re ready to take the next step toward suspension? You want to sharpen your technical precision, deepen your understanding of rope mechanics, and explore the theoretical foundations that make your tying more intentional and dynamic? You learn quickly, practice regularly, and are looking for a course that meets your pace and curiosity? Then this course is for you!

Over ten (bi-)weekly group lessons, we’ll start by refining core patterns with a strong focus on detail, structure, and safe mechanics. We’ll also explore key theoretical aspects relevant to rope practice. Building on this foundation, you’ll gain your first suspension experiences, learn how to create different dynamics, and discover ways to make your sessions more playful, expressive, and unique. Each lesson combines targeted input (both practical and theoretical) with open practice time.

Requirements: You should already feel comfortable with floorwork, know basic patterns, confidently tie single and double column ties, and have a solid understanding of rope handling and the fundamental mechanics of tying.

Duration: 3-5 hours per lesson (flexible, content/intensity may vary depending on duration)

Walking a Fine Line – Playing on the Edge

What happens when we deliberately seek out intense experiences on the edge of comfort, control, or even overwhelm? This workshop is for those who want to explore conscious boundary-pushing in a way that honors both personal limits and interpersonal responsibility. We’ll dive into the psychological foundations of trauma, the purpose of triggers and general personal boundaries, and what happens in the body and mind when these are ignored or crossed. Rather than avoiding intensity, we’ll explore how to create safe containers around challenging experiences through intentional preparation and integration, clear communication, and mutual awareness. Through practical tools and embodied exercises we explore how to recognize early signs of overwhelm in yourself and others and practice verbal and nonverbal communication in moments of stress or emotional activation. This workshop is about making space for intensity – without losing connection, safety, or consent.

Requirements: Curiosity about edgeplay and a willingness to engage with your own and others’ experiences in a compassionate and respectful manner. Please come with a partner!

Duration: 4-7 hours (flexible, content/intensity may vary depending on duration)

Threading the Unknown – Fear in Connection

Fear is one of our most primal emotions, it’s universal, intense, and deeply transformative. In rope, fear can be a powerful element: it sharpens awareness, breaks down facades, and opens unexpected emotional pathways. But playing with fear also comes with great responsibility. Without an understanding of its psychological and biological foundations, or the tools to navigate its impact safely, it can lead to real harm.

This workshop offers a grounded introduction to fear as a deliberate tool in rope play. Together with a trusted partner, you’ll explore different types of fear, learn how to communicate and reflect before, during, and after fear-based scenes, and discover ways to induce and engage with fear in a contained, consensual, and thoughtful way. We’ll look at fear not only as a sensation, but as a dynamic emotional force, one that can be channeled creatively and ethically in rope.

Requirements: You’ll need basic rope skills (no suspension required), experience in play, a fixed partner you trust, and any “fear gear” (f.e. knives) you’d like to bring.

Duration: 4-7 hours (flexible, content/intensity may vary depending on duration)
